Dear Families,

Sorry that we have not posted in a long time, we have been hard at work.  We have been working on our summative projects. We have been designing, building, and painting them. We have been talking about what it means to be part of a community and what a community needs. We have also been learning about food and the season of fall. We made delicious cookies and apple cider.  Yummy!!

Dear Families,

Today we finished our Flat Stanley book.  His brother Arthur had the idea to blow him back up with a bicycle pump.  We also started talking about mailing our our Flat Stanley's out.  That got us thinking about transportation.  We talked about some of the types of transportation by land.  Some of these types are skateboards, trucks, motorcycles, buses, and the lightrail.  How would you travel by land?

Dear Families,

We have been learning about Flat Stanley.  Flat Stanley is the character in our story.  He became flat when a bulletin board fell on him.  Flat Stanley had many adventures in the book.  He even got mailed in an envelope to visit his friend in California.  We like this book and we are even making our own Flat Stanley's.
